Risk Disclosure
Effective September 10, 2026
Participation involves substantial and potentially irreversible risk. This disclosure is not exhaustive. By signing or broadcasting a transaction through the interface, the User acknowledges the risks below, accepts that the User may lose the full amount sent and agrees to act entirely on the User’s own assessment and responsibility.
1. Experimental technology
The protocol and interface are a proof of concept. Software, transaction construction, CRC-20 rules and BRC-20 payment-inscription interpretation, indexer logic, APIs and wallet integrations can fail, contain vulnerabilities or behave differently from their documentation. No audit, testing process or prior successful transaction eliminates these risks.
2. Total loss and absence of promised value
$leaf may have no market, utility, liquidity or monetary value, now or in the future. The User may be unable to receive, display, transfer or dispose of $leaf and may lose 100% of the $BTC, $ORDI and network fees committed. There is no deposit protection, insurance, chargeback or guaranteed recovery mechanism.
3. Bitcoin settlement and irreversibility
Bitcoin transactions are generally irreversible after broadcast and may be delayed, rejected, replaced, reorganized or permanently unconfirmed. Congestion and fee-market changes can materially increase cost or alter confirmation timing. A mistaken amount, address, output, fee or payload normally cannot be corrected by the Operator.
4. Wallet, key, UTXO and inscription risks
Wallet software may expose inaccurate information, sign unexpected data, fail to broadcast or be compromised. Transaction construction may select multiple available UTXOs; those UTXOs can contain inscriptions or other assets not correctly reported by a third-party API. The User must inspect the wallet’s final transaction review. Loss of a key or seed phrase can permanently eliminate access to assets.
5. $ORDI and BRC-20-specific risks
A $ORDI payment requires a valid, exact and transferable BRC-20 transfer inscription. Inscription order, sat location, wallet handling and indexer rules are material. An invalid, previously spent, mixed or incorrectly routed inscription may fail to count as payment or may cause unintended transfer or loss of an inscription or other asset.
6. Quote, curve, supply and indexer risks
A quote can become stale before confirmation. Other transactions, block ordering, the Golden Curve, remaining supply, the 9,666-block mint window and chain reorganizations can change or eliminate the expected allocation. Different indexers may temporarily or permanently disagree, and the displayed state may be incomplete or incorrect.
7. Market and liquidity risks
Digital assets are highly volatile. There is no commitment to create or maintain a market, seek a listing, provide liquidity, redeem $leaf or stabilize any price. Any third-party price may be manipulated, illiquid or unavailable, and resale may be restricted or unlawful.
8. Regulatory, legal and tax risks
Authorities may classify $leaf, the distribution, the Operator, the User or related activity under securities, crypto-asset, payments, commodities, gambling, consumer, sanctions, tax or other laws. Rules and interpretations may change without notice and may lead to restrictions, disclosures, taxes, penalties, investigations or loss of access. The User may have limited remedies, particularly in a cross-border or pseudonymous setting.
9. Cybersecurity and third parties
Phishing, domain impersonation, malicious extensions, compromised devices, denial-of-service attacks, API failures, hosting failures and inaccurate external data can cause loss. Wallets, explorers, social platforms, infrastructure providers and the Bitcoin network are outside the Operator’s control.
10. Informed and independent decision
The User should participate only if the User understands Bitcoin transactions, BRC-20 inscriptions and the possibility of complete loss; can bear that loss without hardship; has verified all transaction details; and has obtained any professional advice the User considers necessary. Social-media posts, community statements and interface statistics must not be treated as guarantees or investment advice.
